Birth Doula

Most doula-client relationships begin a few weeks before the baby is due.

 

During this period, we will develop a relationship in which you will feel free to ask questions, express your fears and concerns, and take an active role in creating a birth plan.  As your Doula, I will provide information techniques that can help to reduce stress and prepare you for your birth and labor. I will make myself available to you by phone in order to respond to your questions or address any concerns that might arise during the course of the pregnancy. I do not provide any type of medical care. However, I am knowledgeable about many medical aspects of labor and delivery. I can help you gain a better understanding of the procedures and possible complications in late pregnancy or delivery.

 

During delivery, I will be available by phone call/ video chat, or text. To go over breathing techniques, relaxation techniques, and laboring positions
