Hello! Welcome, I am so happy that you have decided to visit my page!
My name is Maricela Gomez . I am bilingual Spanish/ English international board certified lactation consultant (IBCLC), a birth doula, childbirth educator and Bellibind specialist.
I am a mother of three wonderful children and married to my wonderful husband since 2007. I love to listen to all type of music, love dancing and to karaoke. My family and I love to travel and watching Netflix shows. I am a lifetime learner and always finding ways on how to better support my clients.
My journey with supporting families with breastfeeding began after my first born. I was experiencing pain when breastfeeding and didn't know it was NOT normal until I was able to receive help and support from a Lactation Consultant . With her support I was able to reach my goal and surpass it. Breastfed my first born for 3 years my second for 4 years and now breastfeeding my 18month old. With out the support of my Lactation Consultant I don't think I would of been able to reach or surpass my breastfeeding goal. With her knowledge and skills she was able to answer any questions and help me over come any challenges that came my way; like engorgement, concerns with baby's weight gain, and thrush. The support from my family and friends was not the same as the skilled lactation professional that was able to guide me and give me individual care and plan. That's is what I want to give you and your family. Individual care and plan to reach your breastfeeding goal!

My mission is to support all who choose to breastfeed and help them through their feeding and birth journey. I will provide all families with the information and education that would allow them to make an informed choice and be part of the decision-making of their birth and feeding plan.
I am here to support you, guide you, and provide a safe space during your prenatal and postpartum journey.
